I’m inspired by their determination, work ethic, and sense of community! We can achieve our full potential by leveraging all of our assets and empowering upcoming community leaders, to improve the quality of life in every neighborhood! Our administration will work tirelessly to open doors for our communities, to improve access and opportunity, and to give voice to those that have been neglected and ignored.

Took a few hours off yesterday to connect with my core campaign advisory team, this one and the one taking the photo Lena Caggiano, have sacrificed a lot during this campaign season. I’m so grateful to them, my team ReUse Action, and all the volunteers that have supported a campaign that brings more participation, more voices and more vision to the democratic process. We have done some transformative things on the East Side Buffalo ReUse, The Foundry, @eastsideparkwayscoalition. It’s time to bring more attention and focus to neighborhoods, more long term focus to city planning, and more discipline and creativity in how we address the biggest challenges before us. Let’s craft a vision for Buffalo that puts YOU, a community member, in the driver’s seat for planning and decision making. Learn about my vision to Restore Humboldt Parkway, enact City Action Corps, plant 100,000 trees, bring more tourism, grow our population, create more urban agriculture by leveraging vacant lots, and a vision to give more support to our youth, seniors and families. My plan is to create a “Culture of Care” at city hall, and I view my administration’s work as already begun. This process of conversation, transparency and engagement is how I will conduct business every day. No Kings! No lifetime appointments! No party politics!
