There’s no understating the importance of Art in our communities.

I have a track record of centering creatives, by fostering more spaces and unique ways to make the arts a part of Buffalo life. From our “ReArt” and community mural project nearly 20 years ago, to the creation of communal spaces like The Foundry and The Guild@980. These are small cost, yet impactful ways to make art accessible.

I will be a mayor who does NOT see the arts community as a frivolous sidenote, small line in the budget- but as a central part of what Buffalo needs for a thriving, healthy and inspiring city.
